Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was spent with a romantic dinner, chocolates and flowers..

Honey and I went for dinner at Swissotel Merchant Court for their international buffet.

Ambience is good as we had outdoor seats by the walkway along Clarke Quay.

Food was considered average only and its not worth the price we paid for.

We caught Valkyrie at Vivo City after dinner.

Movie was good!

A sweet moment

What does kinship means to you?

I witnessed a sweet moment this afternoon at the bus stop.

A little boy was in pre-school uniform waiting for his school bus. He was accompanied by his father and little brother. Not long after, the school bus arrived. The little brother ran forward to his brother and gave him a goodbye hug before his brother board the school bus.

I was touched by the scene. A little boy who was as young as 3 years old can be so sensible and knows how to cherish someone close. I pondered...

As the only child, I won't be able to experience or show love towards the siblings.

I realised how special showing love towards your siblings can be. It can just come so naturally, just like giving a simple hug. That picture really paints a thousand words.

Birthday of a loved one

It was boyfriend's 23rd birthday. We dined at My Secret Garden.
The ambience was perfect and nicely beautified with dim lightings and xmas decorations.
The restaurant is like a little cottage house with a big garden outside.

Special arrangements were made for the birthday boy.
I am glad my big boy was surprised when the birthday song was played for him..

We were served with a drink each, hot soup, appetizer, main course and a lovely dessert for couples.

The food portion is kept small which makes us enjoy every taste of the food more.

How has life been lately for you?
...

My life has been revolving around school work for the past few weeks
- reports, quizes, assignments, presentations & the coming term tests soon

When stress or unhappiness is spelled out,

there's always someone who will fill my heart with gladness..
and take away all my sadness

ease my troubles; that's what he always do.

And he always makes me feel that weekends are programmed with extra love, joy, sweetness, laughters, happiness and anything that revolves around h-a-p-p-y!

Income has went down. Days to office have been lesser lately and tuition has stopped due to the year end school holidays.

The weeks are passing fast.
In two months' time, I will be counting down to the end of my tertiary life.

The future begins..
